Welcome to Woodside Cottage!

We hope you enjoy your holiday. 

CHECK-IN

Check-in is from 4pm. Regrettably our housekeeping team cannot offer earlier access to the property. 

PARKING

There is a parking pass provided in the cottage which you can use in the car park at the bottom of the hill next to the church, within 100m. We do not have any spare passes so PLEASE REMEMBER TO RETURN THE PASS TO THE COTTAGE BEFORE YOU DEPART.

GENERAL INFORMATION

 

PARKING

There is no parking with 3 Rock Cottages. The nearest place to park is in the pay & display car park at the bottom of the hill, opposite the church. 

 

HEATING & HOT WATER

The heating is set on a timed programme, you can use the thermostat to control the temperature, but please do remember to turn it down when it is not needed. The water will heat automatically. If you are having any issues with the heating or hot water, please call us on 01841 550998.

 

REFUSE & RECYCLING

Waste and recycling is stored and collected by the side gate. You do not need to move the dustbin from here.
Place all waste and recyling in black bin liners, this will be separated by the collection company.
Please ensure all items are bagged in bin liners before putting into the dustbin, and everything put out on departure for collection. 

 

WI-FI

The Wi-Fi code can be found on the back of the router on the window seat in the dining room. Please ensure the card is placed back into the router after use.

WOODBURNING STOVE

Should you wish to use the wood burner, you will need to provide your own logs. These are available from Tesco in Wadebridge and Padstow, as well as at Padstow filling station. Please be aware that using the woodburning stove is at your own risk. Beware - wood burner and flue get very hot so please keep children (and adults!) away. Please only burn wood, no coal or charcoal. 

ELECTRICAL / GAS / WATER ISSUES

If there are any worrying leaks and you need to turn off the water supply, you will find the stop cock in the boiler cupboard in the kitchen. The stop cock is on the bottom right-hand side.

If you have any cuts in power, please check that the fuses have not simply tripped. The fuse box is in the doorway between the kitchen and lounge, in the box on the right-hand side. Please slide the boxing to the left to find the fuse board.

If there are any worrying smells of gas, the shut off tap is in the white gas box mounted on the front of the property.

IN THE EVENT OF A SERIOUS EMERGENCY PLEASE CALL 999.

There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket in the kitchen. There is a torch for emergency lighting and a first aid kit in the living area.

DEPARTURES

BEFORE YOU LEAVE
Please ensure any remaining rubbish has been bagged and left in the dustbin.

CLEANING

Our cleaners will come in after you depart and clean the property, but if you could help them out by leaving the property as you find, it would be greatly appreciated!

PLEASE STRIP THE BED LINEN AND LEAVE ON THE BED

BREAKAGES / DAMAGES

If you have any breakages, or damage anything in the property during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible so we can organise any repairs or cleaning necessary in time before the next guests.

LOCKING UP

When you depart, please ensure any spare house keys are left within the property, ensure all doors are locked and the master set of keys are left in the key safe before you set off. Please ensure the numbers on the safe are scrambled when you leave.
