CHECK-IN

Check-in is from 4pm. Regrettably our housekeeping team cannot offer earlier access to the property.

There is parking for two - three vehicles on the driveway.

PARKING

The parking in front of the house is for the use of Morwynsow guests only. There is space for three cars but please take care to not to block access to our shared driveway with “Seawinds” next door. 

REFUSE

The main refuse bin for the house is found down the alley to the right of the front door just beyond the gate (where the key box can be found). The black bin is for all waste. In the kitchen we have two bins (found in the cupboard to the right of the sink). The back bin is for mixed recycling and should have a white bin bag and the front bin should be a black bin and is for general (non-recycled) waste. The food waste bag should go in with general waste. 

The refuse collection company we use are HM Waste Removals and they collect the bin on a Friday. 

ELECTRICAL / GAS / WATER ISSUES

A foam Fire Extinguisher and fire blanket can be found in the kitchen, with a powder Fire Extinguisher and fire banket in the Utility Room. There is also a First Aid kit and Emergency Torch - both can be found in the Utility Room. 

The Water Stop Tap is located in the bottom of the tall cupboard in the Utility Room. The Gas Key is on a peg inside the tall cupboard in the Utility room. Gas can be turned off at the Meter on the left side on the house on the outside of the garage. 

The fuse box is located in the Owners storeroom at the front of the garage. 

The house is fitted with wired mains smoke alarms on both floors and two carbon monoxide alarms. 

We advise you leave the house key in the key box when you leave the property to reduce the likelihood of key loss. In the event of key loss, the guests will be charged for replacement key for the door, or possibly a replacement lock, so please take care. 

HEATING

Every room at Morwynsow has its own thermostat. All the rooms and hall on the ground floor have underfloor heating, whereas the upstairs is heated by radiators supported by the boiler that is located in the garage. 

Both the shower room and bathroom have electric towel rails that are turned on manually. The bathroom towel rail switch is in the hall by the bathroom door, near the single plug socket; the switch for the shower room rail is just outside the door at a low level. Please note that the heated towel rails can get very hot and caution should be taken when these are on.

DEPARTURES

BEFORE YOU LEAVE
Please ensure any remaining rubbish has been bagged and left in the dustbin.

CLEANING

Our cleaners will come in after you depart and clean the property, but if you could help them out by leaving the property as you find, it would be greatly appreciated!

PLEASE STRIP THE BED LINEN AND LEAVE ON THE BED

BREAKAGES / DAMAGES

If you have any breakages, or damage anything in the property during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible so we can organise any repairs or cleaning necessary in time before the next guests.

LOCKING UP

When you depart, please ensure any spare house keys are left within the property, ensure all doors are locked and the master set of keys are left in the key safe before you set off. Please ensure the numbers on the safe are scrambled when you leave.
